Starting from October 2023, Longi will conduct research on the mass production technology of stacked batteries for commercial applications. In just six months, it has overcome two key challenges: the preparation of large-area perovskite films in the air and ultra-low temperature metallization. For the first time, it has achieved a photoelectric conversion efficiency of over 30% on commercial sized devices. The theoretical limit efficiency of crystalline silicon perovskite stacked cells can reach up to 43%. LONGi's breakthroughs in prototype devices and wafer level stacked cells have helped it continue to lead in the two mainstream tracks of crystalline silicon single junction cells and stacked cells. Currently, LONGi is the "double champion" of the world records for cell efficiency in the two major tracks of crystalline silicon single junction cells (27.30%) and crystalline silicon perovskite stacked cells (34.6%). The exhibited products cover various scenarios such as distributed and centralized, as well as functional scenario products and solutions such as anti dust accumulation and moisture resistance.
On May 7th, Longi released its new generation of ultra high value component product Hi-MO 9 in Madrid, Spain. Based on high-efficiency HPBC 2.0 battery technology, it has a maximum power of 660W, a conversion efficiency of up to 24.43%, higher power generation capacity, lower BOS cost, and higher reliability. Hi - MO 9 Once launched, it was highly favored by the market. According to She Haifeng, Vice President of Longi Green Energy, the company has nearly 1GW of orders on hand and over 5GW of customer order reserves. The original plan was to supply around 10GW of Hi-MO 9 products globally by 2025. Based on the current market situation, production capacity will be increased.
